B&W film is always so fun to work with! I went out just north of Wilmington to scout a location that I’ll be photographing a bridal session in shortly. I generally like to get a feel for a location beforehand and will often bring my camera to see what the light is doing during the time we’re supposed to be there. This time I took a roll of black and white film instead of the digital. This wedding is going to be chock full of rustic details, so I wanted to tie that into the bridal session somehow. Along with some other fun details, I wanted to get a few images that I could develop to look like they’ve been around forever and just recently found in an old shoe box or forgotten dresser drawer. What better way to do that than with the materials that were only available to a past generation. All of these shots are straight out of camera.. the beauty of film- no editing! I’ll probably have 3 or 4 of these on hand this weekend- but I liked all of them and wanted to share!
