Towards the end of 2011, we decided that although shooting weddings was a lot of fun, helping people in need was even better.  So after putting a few pieces in place, we launched the Wellspring Initiative.  It’s only goal is to provide clean filtered drinking water to people of Cameroon, Africa.  We do this through the proceeds of each wedding we book.  So everyone that chooses Eric Boneske Photography has a hand in dramatically improving the living conditions of families half a world away.  The most recent family Wellspring was able to provide a water filtration system to was Roger, Julie and their three children; Ruth, Abiezer, and Julienne (below).  It’s been said that in Cameroon, 95% of disease comes through unfiltered water, both ground water, and city water.  It is our hope to be able to help as many families as possible by giving them the means to clean water.  We are honored and blessed to be able to help in this way!  And if you have recently booked with us, thank you!!  We cannot do this without you 🙂
