Bald Head Island (Bald Head Island, NC)

Wedding photography on Bald Head Island is like a little slice of heaven. Not only is it insanely beautiful (think the Hampton's meets secluded southern island), but there's also a tranquility that you realize as soon as you arrive. No cars are allowed, so as soon as you depart the catamaran that shuttles passengers back and forth, you can choose to walk, bike, or golf cart your way around. So fun.

Chanel and Devon came down from DC for their destination wedding, and looked like they stepped straight out of a magazine. Although their ceremony was beautiful, I really loved shooting with them afterward. I knew it was going to be good when a day before the wedding, Chanel emailed me to say that she fully intended to be in the ocean by the end of the day. Love this job. The light was too good as the sun set so we just shot and shot and shot. So great... and the ever-red soled Christian Louboutin's?? Amazing!
