This Abilena Plantation wedding in New Bern, NC was absolutely beautiful from start to finish.  Shauna with Shauna Loves Planning designed and coordinated this picture perfect day, and it couldn’t have been for two more deserving people.  Alex and Eli were so much fun to work with, and right from there engagement session I knew their wedding was going to be a blast.  Their wedding was full of southern charm, from the historic plantation venue, to the color palette, to the grooms suit choice and everything in between.  Scroll down to check out my favorites from this amazing Abilena Plantation wedding day.

 

 

Katie and Jud were married at a private garden along the Cape Fear river in downtown Wilmington, and had their reception at the gorgeous 128 South on Front St. It was a perfect fall day for this beautiful wedding… All our best to Katie and Jud! I loved everything about this wedding… from the people, to the countryside, to the homemade pies and deserts made by the mother of the bride, to the dried flowers and cotton, to the many musical happenings from the wedding party and father of the bride, to the (surprise) appearance of Asheville underground greats The Big Nasty Jazz Band, all the way to the squirt gun exit. Crystal and Doug are quite possibly two of my favorite people… Easy laughers and so fun to hang out with! Of course it doesn’t hurt that we started the session off right at a local pub, but that’s neither here nor hgh human growth there… I also don’t shoot in Raleigh too often, so it was fun to get out and learn a new area!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This picture perfect wedding at Grace United Methodist Church and 128 South in Downtown Wilmington NC was amazing. Ashley had thought through every detail of the day and it turned out beautifully! I loved working with Abigail and Tony! I have the great opportunity to photograph a lot of weddings at the amazing Shell Island Resort. Although each year we find ourselves shooting all over the county, I absolutely love that a place like this exists right in our back yard, here in Wilmington NC! Brett, Lauren, and all of their guests were so much fun to work with.
