How beautiful is this Wrightsville Manor Wedding??? From the first details to the rained-out-but-still-amazing exit, this wedding was perfection. Wrightsville Manor is is one of our favorite venues to photograph weddings, and as you’ll see, it’s no surprise why. It makes for a beautiful backdrop for either indoor or outdoor weddings and is just dripping with southern charm and character. Special thanks to Bubbly Events for coordinating the day and making the whole celebration seamless and full of love and laughter! Big congratulations to the beautiful bride and awesome groom Allison and Blake- you guys were so much fun, and it was an honor to be a part of this day!

This Abilena Plantation wedding in New Bern, NC was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Shauna with Shauna Loves Planning designed and coordinated this picture perfect day, and it couldn’t have been for two more deserving people. Alex and Eli were so much fun to work with, and right from there engagement session I knew their wedding was going to be a blast. Their wedding was full of southern charm, from the historic plantation venue, to the color palette, to the grooms suit choice and everything in between. Scroll down to check out my favorites from this amazing Abilena Plantation wedding day.
A few weeks ago I was in Raleigh NC for this ridiculously fun engagement session with Carly and Dillon. They proposed the idea of including a hot air balloon and I was all in. Aside from being adorably in love, they both had so much fun on this shoot and it shows! Special thanks to Tom at Above and Beyond Hot Air Balloons for helping make this possible!
We shot this candid surf session the day before Nicole and Mike’s beautiful wedding at the Villa Playa Maria estate. You can see that wedding HERE!
I loved everything about this wedding… from the people, to the countryside, to the homemade pies and deserts made by the mother of the bride, to the dried flowers and cotton, to the many musical happenings from the wedding party and father of the bride, to the (surprise) appearance of Asheville underground greats The Big Nasty Jazz Band, all the way to the squirt gun exit. This one had. it. all! If you like them, like us on Facebook here.
Crystal and Doug are quite possibly two of my favorite people… Easy laughers and so fun to hang out with! Of course it doesn’t hurt that we started the session off right at a local pub, but that’s neither here nor hgh human growth there… I also don’t shoot in Raleigh too often, so it was fun to get out and learn a new area!
