I loved working with Abigail and Tony! This simple and sweet session turned out perfect. Plus they were in cowboy boots and brought a shotgun.. what’s not to love?? So enjoy, and please click here to go like us on Facebook. If we get to 1000 likes before the end of the year, everyone gets ice cream. My treat.
I have the great opportunity to photograph a lot of weddings at the amazing Shell Island Resort. Although each year we find ourselves shooting all over the county, I absolutely love that a place like this exists right in our back yard, here in Wilmington NC! Brett, Lauren, and all of their guests were so much fun to work with. The day was amazing, and we wish them all the best! I want to say a special thank you to Heather Healy of Port City Event Planners for all of the gorgeous design and decor! Beautiful job! If you haven’t already, go ahead over to our Facebook page and click the Like button! We’re trying to get to 1000 likes before the end of the year!
Jenn and Anthony’s downtown Wilmington wedding was like one big party. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Riverside Hilton– which is a great venue choice if you are looking for an all-in-one space that is literally right down town along the Cape Fear River. The Hot Pink Cake Stand did an amazing job again on the cake, and Bombshell Brides did fantastic onsite hair and makeup. All in all, this day was a blast. Thanks so much to Jenn and Anthony for allowing me to be a part of this day! Let us know what you think down in the comments!!
Being Wedding Photographers in Wilmington NC affords us some incredible locations, and this happens to be one of them. Melissa and Brett came down from Raleigh for this styled engagement session idea that I had pitched to them a few months ago. I wanted to do a take on a picnic setting beneath hundred year old Live Oaks covered with Spanish Moss and thick grass- totally southern! The day was to culminate with some dramatic underwater photography, as our intrepid couple jumped into the pool on the premises. (which they did, and can be found here) However, after editing all the images, it was just too much for one blog post. So we decided to break them up into a part 1 and part 2. Extra special thanks to the Hot Pink Cake Stand for baking up some of the most mouthwatering pies we’ve ever had, and to Fiore Fine Flowers for a truly incredible bouquet. Amazing! I can’t even wait to shoot this wedding in a few weeks. Leave a comment below!!
